Father’s Day Book Signing Event of Xlibris Publishing Author in A BookStore in Ocala, Florida
This Sunday, June 20, 2010 on Father’s Day weekend, Elaine Seissler, a self published author from Xlibris Publishing, will have a book signing event at the Realms Beyond New Age Bookstore in Ocala, Florida from 12:00pm – 6:00pm. Her self published book, Me and My Hormones Walking Down Fifth Avenue, is a bouncy and infectiously happy narrative that tells the exhilarating story of the author’s life challenges and tales of bliss.
The little Jewish woman from Queens wrote a non-fiction short story told like a stand-up comedy act on how an extraordinary Jew experiences life from the eyes of a childlike adult. Self published author of Xlibris Publishing cheerfully talks about how she becomes a physical therapist despite deplorable SAT scores. The reader would never know she debuted into the world having a scary bump on her head and radiation therapy to cure it.
My and My Happy Hormones Walking Down Fifth Avenue is every bit adventurous, loving, funny and artistic. 100% of the booksales will go to Elaine’s non-profit organization and philanthropic charity called “Global Adaptive Equipment Fund for Special Needs Children (GAEF).
About the author
Elaine is a little Jewish woman from Queens, New York, born with a brain tumor. Became learning disabled and had wondrous adventures, all for the purpose of personal and spiritual growth. Understanding the world through touch, art, colors, dance, music, and nature. Despite various health problems, Elaine’s adventurous spirit takes her into unconventional places. A licensed and practicing physical therapist from 1972 to 1992. Her alternative private practice began in 1992 and continued to 1996. From 1996 to 2007, Elaine worked solely with babies from birth to three. From Queens to New Mexico to Florida, and now, to write.
